Scouting has been a meaningful part of my life since my youth. I earned the rank of Eagle Scout on June 15, 1989, while growing up in Utah. The lessons of leadership, service, and personal responsibility I learned through Scouting have continued to influence my life and professional career.
As an adult volunteer, I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of leadership positions, including more than eight years as Scoutmaster of Troop 685 in Pflugerville, Texas, approximately seven and a half years in district advancement leadership, and multiple years supporting National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT).
Throughout my Scouting journey, one of my greatest rewards has been watching young people develop confidence, discover their potential, and become leaders.
Today, I continue that commitment through my service as Armadillo Chapter Advisor for Tonkawa Lodge, Order of the Arrow.

I believe Scouting is at its best when young people are given the opportunity to lead, learn from experience, and discover what they are capable of accomplishing.
My goal as an adult volunteer has always been to provide guidance, encouragement, and opportunities while allowing youth to take ownership of their Scouting experience.
