Order of the Arrow
Brotherhood • Cheerfulness • Service
The Order of the Arrow has provided me with another meaningful opportunity to serve Scouting through fellowship, leadership development, and service to others.
As a member of Tonkawa Lodge 99, I have had the opportunity to work alongside dedicated youth and adult volunteers who share a commitment to strengthening Scouting and serving their communities.
My OA Journey
October 6, 2018 — OA Membership
Became a member of the Order of the Arrow, beginning my involvement in Scouting's national honor society.
May 4, 2025 — Brotherhood
Completed Brotherhood membership, reaffirming my commitment to the principles of the Order of the Arrow and a lifetime of cheerful service.
2025–2026 — Armadillo Chapter Associate Advisor
Served in a chapter advisory role, supporting youth leadership and chapter activities.
2026–Present — Armadillo Chapter Advisor
Began serving as Chapter Advisor for the Armadillo Chapter of Tonkawa Lodge 99 in the Capitol Area Council, continuing my commitment to mentoring youth leaders and supporting the chapter's growth.
Chapter Leadership
As Armadillo Chapter Advisor, my primary responsibility is to mentor and support the youth officers who lead the chapter.
I work alongside chapter leadership to develop an engaging program that encourages Arrowmen to participate, build friendships, strengthen their leadership skills, and contribute through cheerful service.
My involvement includes:
Mentoring chapter officers and supporting youth-led meetings and activities
Encouraging fellowship, service, and member engagement
Supporting unit elections, inductions, and Brotherhood opportunities
Coordinating with district and lodge leadership
Developing communication resources that keep Arrowmen informed and connected
My goal is to help create an environment where youth leaders can take ownership of their chapter and where every Arrowman feels welcome and encouraged to participate.
Chapter Communications & Development
In 2026, I helped establish a dedicated website and communication resources for the Armadillo Chapter to improve access to information and strengthen connections among members.
These efforts included developing the chapter website, organizing meeting and event information, providing access to a chapter calendar, and supporting communication through Slack.
The goal has been to make it easier for Arrowmen and their families to stay informed, participate in activities, and become more involved in the chapter.

Continuing the Journey
The Order of the Arrow represents an ongoing opportunity to practice servant leadership and give back to the Scouting program.
I look forward to continuing to support Tonkawa Lodge, mentor youth leaders, and help Arrowmen discover meaningful opportunities for fellowship, leadership, and cheerful service.
